In 2019 I prayed thanks and praise for my life, my wife and infant son, my (stressful, but good) job, and my living situation. My pastor had asked me to lead the congregation in worship, even though I had only just begun a real relationship with the Creator. So I earnestly asked God, “What would you have me do?” That one question changed the course of my life, because the holy spirit dropped on me right there in the kitchen, and God made it clear to me that he was going to use me starting right then, that I would be serving him from then on. For six years I dedicated my life to the music ministry at the church my family attended, West County Assembly of God ins St. Louis. I quit my job and joined the staff there, and earned credentials as a licensed minister with Assemblies of God. After my season at WCAG ended I knew I would be a “tentmaker” for the rest of my life, earning my way in the world, while devoting my live to ministry. Now that I’ve finished my first Christian blues album, I will be spending time in the St. Louis community,
