EDDIE WILSON MUSIC MINISTRIES was born in 2019, four years after I left my life as a performer and moved to St. Louis. At 51 years old, I was finally blessed to become the father of a little baby, so music really wasn’t part of my plan. God changed that plan.

First, my pastor asked me to lead our congregation in worship, even though I had only just begun a real relationship with the Lord. At first I refused, but my pastor encouraged me to pray on it (I know, right?), and I earnestly asked God, “What would you have me do?” That one question changed the course of my life, because the Holy Spirit dropped on me right there in the kitchen. God made it clear to me that he was going to use me starting immediately, and that I would be serving him from then on. For six years following that morning I dedicated my life to the music ministry at the church where my family attended, West County Assembly of God in St. Louis. By 2020 I quit my “day job” and went full-time at WCAG, working hard for the congregation while studying toward credentials as a minister with Assemblies of God. I am now a licensed minister, but after my season at WCAG ended I knew I would likely be earning my pay back in the world from now on, while still devoting my life to ministry. Now that I’ve finished my first Christian blues album, I will be spending time in the St. Louis community, meeting people who are unchurched, away from church, or just hurting and hungry. It’s an honor to provide for their needs and show God’s love in the world.
